In an article written by Glenn Kessler on January 4, 2012, he discusses about Mitt Romney and how he says he can create jobs. Of course, this is something every candidate says just so they can get votes from the people. They must have information backing them up if they want to be serious contenders for the presidency seat. Mitt Romney has some information that could back him up for this up coming election. When Romney served as the governor for Massachusetts, during his four years the number of jobs has gone up 61,000. Obama has almost 2 million jobs since he's been president. The writer of this article also defends Obama as well saying that most of those jobs lost cannot be blamed on him because they were lost before he ever could begin his policies. Also comparing Obama's first three years of presidency to Romney's four years of being governor is not right. If we compared the first three years of each Romney would only have created about 4,000 jobs. Now that is not much to brag about I would say. Instead he tries to catch peoples eyes by throwing out the big numbers but not the information for it.
