In an article written by Catalina Camia on January 12, 2012, she discusses about why the U.S Chamber of Commerce believes these attacks on Mitt Romney about his record at Bain Capital are foolish and that is all just helps Obama in the end of the day. Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry have been taking shots at Mitt Romney to try to portray him as a ruthless corporate raider out for profit. This is quite idiotic if they want a republican to be in the White House come the next election. The only thing they are really doing is handing Barack Obama more fuel so that no one can compete with him, even the best of the Republican candidates. The weird thing about all this is the fact that the U.S Chamber of Commerce usually stays out of the politics when it comes to presidential things but him and Obama do not really see eye to eye on several issues and I am pretty sure he would like nothing more than to see a new face in his spot. Preferably Mitt Romney's because of how much support he receives. If the other candidates continue to dig up dirt on one another soon there will be no good candidates left on the republican side and people will have to settle to vote for one. In the end that candidate might not win the whole election.
